What is the Probability of Winning a Three Digit Lottery??? (Your Odds to Win)
Переглядів 1 тис.5 місяців тому
To win a 3-digit lottery you must match three numbers between 0 and 9, when the numbers are drawn from three separate containers. What is your probability of winning??? In this video, I do the math to determine the probability of winning and discuss how much money you can expect to win (or lose) if you play a 3-digit lottery over the long term. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the...

How to Solve a System of Three Equations With Three Variables - Substitution Method
Переглядів 996 місяців тому
The ability to solve a system of equations using the substitution method is an important part of mastering algebra. In this video, I solve a system of three equations in three variables using this method and describe the four major steps used in the process. There are certainly other ways to solve the system presented in this video, including Cramer's Rule, but this solution focuses on the more...
Graphing a Polynomial Equation :: Curve Sketching Using Calculus
Переглядів 8 тис.Рік тому
In this video I describe the steps in the process of using Calculus to draw the graph of a polynomial function. To accurately sketch a function's graph, Calculus can be used to find: Critical Numbers Intervals where f(x) is increasing/decreasing Extrema (maximum and minimum points) Possible Points of Inflection Intervals of Concavity Points of Inflection I describe what each of these concepts a...

How To Factor a Quadratic With the X Method - An Example Problem
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
The x-method is a way to factor a quadratic expression when the value of a (the coefficient on the squared term) is 1. This method is sometimes known as the cross method. Factoring can be a difficult part of algebra, the x-method is often used when beginning to learn this concept. In this video, I factor a quadratic using this process and describe each step in the x-method. After factoring, I c...

The LATTICE Method (or BOX Method) - Multiplying Polynomials - Algebra
Переглядів 1,4 тис.Рік тому
The lattice method - or box method - is one way to multiply polynomials. In this video I solve an example problem using this method. The practice problem presented here has a binomial multiplied by a trinomial, but the box method can be used to multiply polynomials of any number of terms. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments section.
Limit Definition of the Derivative - How to Differentiate a Polynomial - Calculus
Переглядів 637Рік тому
The limit definition of a derivative is a way to find the derivative of a function (provided that the limit exists). In this video, I go through the process of finding a derivative using the definition. The rules of differentiation in Calculus are based on this limit definition of the derivative. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments section.
A Derivative Using the Power Rule With Negative Exponents
Переглядів 198Рік тому
In this video I describe the steps in evaluating a derivative involving a variable in a denominator. One of the most basic calculus differentiation rules is the power rule, but it cannot be directly applied in this equation until it is re-written using negative exponents. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments section.
Free Falling Object Word Problem - Calculus
Переглядів 1,2 тис.Рік тому
In this vertical motion calculus word problem, a ball is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 33 meters per second. It is two meters above the ground the instant it leaves the thrower's hand. You are asked to find the velocity of the ball the moment it hits the ground. In this video, I describe how to solve the problem in four simple steps. 0:00 Introduction 0:25 Step 1 - Write a position ...

In the original Simpsons episode, teacher erroneously writes 3 squared DR without the ‘r’ from the Power Rule but says the correct formula. I don’t think the animators checked their math. Which makes me laugh. RDRR. Or was that the meta joke?
Thanks a lot man. You helped me .
gj mate ur more acurate than google maps
Can you PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON introduction to related rates with TWO EQUATIONS!? In calculus
Welcome
One of the best videos I was just searching for. And boom 🔥🔥🔥 🇰🇪🇰🇪
4 Billion don't have jobs, can't pay rent every month and are starving Your solution of breeding more mouths to feed will not solve the food shortage problem
There are approximately 700 million people who earn less than $2.50 a day, which is classified as poverty. However, it is not 4 billion. For each century that passes, people become less and less poor, so things are moving in the right direction.
@@ss-lz4me 150 Billion people are underground rotting, another 7 billion de. ad in the next 60 years
but terrance howard said 1x1=2. explain that math nerds. also if the limit=my sex life, does that mean it equals DNE. checkmate atheists.
First l. Congratulations on your explanation, you manage to do it concisely and yet you didn’t assume things like the definition of a differential 3:06 But c'mon... 0:47 lets talk about why this is funny Its hilarius because when you have to explain a joke to most people...well...then its no longer a joke
How in the world do you get a right triangle when side 'd' is a curved line...have you forgot earth is supposedly a sphere or are you pretending it is flat like most people do. They believe they live on a globe because that is what they are told, but in reality they treat it as if it is flat.
thanks brotha
The greatest teacher there ever was and The greatest there ever will be.
This helped me so much trying to get through a class where the teacher doesnt really teach thank you for this you just saved my grade on the test
Glad it helped!
Very impressive 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Which grade is that type of maths for?
This is a trigonometry problem usually encountered by 11th or 12th grade students.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
Thanks,👍
No problem 👍

thank you so much
You are welcome, glad it helped!
Yet Claus and Bill and their Supa rich chronies say we're overpopulated. 1/3 of humanity they want to give up their sq ft. It's a horror story, and you, we are the main characters in it.
2 HUMANS CAN FIT IN ONE SQUARE METER THERES 8 BILLION PEOPLE , SO 4 BILLION IN ONE SQUARE METER , NOW DO MATH . 1 SQUARE FOOT NEVER
Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful video! Your clear explanations and step-by-step approach really made understanding this concept a breeze. Keep up the fantastic work!
You're very welcome!
thanks bro
No problem

Why don’t we take hypotenuse as distance????
This problem is asking for the distance to the airport from the point on the ground below the airplane. If the problem was asking for the distance through the air to the airport, then we would find the length of the hypotenuse.
Great Vid helped me out.
Glad to hear it!
How to calculate the area of an irregular quadrilateral with different angles and no right angle and different side's length?
Great video. Really underrated

You're welcome... Glad it helped!
We need to count humans not in population but in actual volume cause some are really voluminous
where is the calculus
The only calculus required in this video is in step 3 when you write a velocity function by taking the derivative of the function that describes the ball's position. This is at 4:52 of the video.
You have a nice sounding voice young man
lifesaver
Very helpful video, thank you.
Glad it helped.
1 last zero is missing!!
Please, Correct me if I'm wrong. Finding the 1st number is ok. But 2nd through 5th is not correct because the 1st through 5th cone out from the game. Meaning, the first number is between 1 through 69, but the second number is 1 through (69-1) because the ball is out of the mixer. Another words, you're assuming the ball that came out, is back again in the mixer which is not true. Now, with that explanation how the probability combination formula changes? That is the challenge I am facing. Will you please forward your response to my email address where you'll find it under UA-cam id? No explaination is needed, Just the formula is fine.
